Walter James Sheppard is a dedicated veteran and proud founder of Shepherd and Shepard Quality Care and Logistics, has spent nearly 50 years serving his country and community. At 69 years young, Walter began his journey in logistics and transportation, initially moving fruit and produce throughout the Central, Florida area. His commitment to service led him into the military, where he earned numerous decorations before returning home to retire. Witnessing the challenges faced by his aging siblings inspired him to launch his own care and logistics company, recognizing the pressing need for reliable transportation and quality care for seniors in Polk County. Walter’s personal experiences and deep understanding of the struggles faced by veterans and the elderly have shaped the core mission of his company—providing compassionate, trustworthy services that prioritize the well-being of those he serves. With a heart rooted in service and a commitment to community, Walter James Sheppard continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and veterans, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve
